Defog your windows TWICE as fast using SCIENCE- 4 easy steps

Here are 4 steps to defog your windshield twice as fast in the morning and the science behind why it works. Thanks for watching from the bottom of my nerdy heart.

A more detailed explanation of why warm air 'holds' more water-

Ok, I cannot turn my heater and AC on at the same time. Also the heat of your own body even if you were to use a towel will just fog them back up again against the cold glass. Until the window is heated, it just fogs back up here in E TX in the winter time. My best result. Don;t be in a hurry. Or as I call a last second Nancy. Named after my wife of course, because she can take 6 hours to get ready to walk out the door. No joke! 6 hours once! Normally at least 2 hours. My best results? Go start your car and turn the defroster on and let it warm up about 1o minutes before you leave. Ta da!

Those were actually the settings that I've been using for a while. Didn't thought about the AC though. Only if you can't dry fast enough the hot air, it will condense in the windshield making it worse.

If chemical-trails were real then one pilot out of one hundred would have the ethic background to come forward as Edward Snowden did or a handful of the other whistleblowers, but even then, anything expelled at that height would never make it to the ground to begin with without breaking down and evaporating, but let's say it made it's way up to the ice crystallation process and then fell to earth making our water ways poisoned, well with modern technology most of the tap water is clean enough to guzzle down, but even then with it being absorbed into hydrogen, oxygen, helium, nitrogen, carbon, oxides. it would be broken down instantaneously... that theory is about as stone walled as the flat earth theory, just because it disperses at such a great height doesnt mean you inhale it at such a low level, as for the window treatment, use anything that contains oil or alcohol, oil and paint prevent water from penetrating

  42. Andrey Pozhogin

    Andrey PozhoginPrije 3 mjeseci

The simplest way to solve this problem is to not get frost on the first place. Just vent the car after the ride for 30 seconds (to make the towel tiny). Also, if you blast the heat, the cold air from outside will keep the engine cold for much longer. And the engine is the source of heat in the car. So you are not getting heat for much longer if you blast it rather than waiting for engine temperature to come up first.

Most cars are going to choose those options anyway for you. Except cracking your windows. If you have air con in your car when you choose defog mode it will automatically turn on the air con and normally switch off recirculate. It is built into the thermostat controls. RainX and other products work really well too. Just keep your windows clean will help. Unless you have a leaky heater core then you are screwed lol. It will actually fog your windows up worse.

  68. Dennis

    DennisPrije 4 mjeseci

You overlook something: when the windshield is fogged (is that a word?) Then your engine is most likely cold too. I found that giving it some time to warm up, e.g. while scraping your windows, its more efiicient since blowing hot air while the car is cold just wont allow the fluids to warm up.
